What Swapfiets for Business costs, and how it is taxed
Two things decide what you and your employees pay: our monthly price, and what your country's tax rules do to it. Pick your country for both.
The subscription price
Our standard monthly price. There's no separate business rate and no volume discount, so you pay what anyone else pays, and there's nothing to negotiate. Prices differ per country, along with which bikes are available. You'll find both on your country page.
The tax part
This is usually where the bigger saving is, and it works differently in every country. Depending on where you are, it might lower the cost for you, for your employee, or for both.
In several countries your employees can pay from gross salary, which reduces their taxable income and makes the bike meaningfully cheaper than the monthly price suggests.
Find your country
If you're in Spain
We're active in Spain and we can set up a business account for you. There's no costs and tax page for this country yet, so email business@swapfiets.com and we'll go through pricing and the local tax treatment with you directly.
Deciding who pays what
Wherever you are, you decide how much of the cost you cover: all of it, part of it, or none. We invoice you for the full subscription either way, and you handle any employee share through payroll.
Add-ons like theft coverage are always invoiced to you and can't be split. Extra costs like a lost key or a missing bike are your choice: cover them yourself, or leave them with your employee.
