How do we sign up as a company?
Four steps: get in touch, have a call, sign the framework agreement, and share the sign-up link with your team.
The 4 steps
1. Email us at business@swapfiets.com. Tell us you're interested and roughly how many employees you have. Prefer to talk? Call +31 88 991 1588, weekdays 09:00 to 17:00.
2. Have a call. 15 minutes covers how it works, your options and the tax side.
3. Sign the framework agreement. We'll send it once you've decided. Our [general terms and conditions] are available beforehand.
4. Share the sign-up link. You get the link, promotional material and an onboarding guide to launch with.
What to have ready
Rough answers are fine:
- How many employees you have
- How many you'd offer Swapfiets to
- What makes someone eligible, if it isn't everyone
- How you'd like to offer it: fully paid, part-funded, or salary exchange
- What you'd contribute per employee
Not sure on the last three? That's what the call is for.
How long it takes
Days rather than weeks on our side. The longest part is usually your own internal sign-off, since finance, legal or payroll want to review the agreement and the tax treatment. Once it's signed, your employees can sometimes get their bike the same day.
If finance or payroll need detail first, point them at costs and tax in your country and how the monthly invoice works.
