Transferring your Swapfiets membership or bike to someone else
It is not possible to transfer the membership to someone else, but we can transfer the bike to the new account when you cancel your subscription.
Why membership contracts cannot be directly transferred
It's sad to see you leaving Swapfiets, but we are happy to hear you want to transfer your membership to a friend!
Unfortunately, we can not transfer your membership, since the initial contract will still be on your name. If you do want to transfer your bike to your friend we recommend cancelling your subscription. When the other party has registered online, you can contact our customer support team and we will plan an appointment for you to transfer the bike to the new account.
Important: Please don't hand your bike over to your friend without booking a transfer appointment with us first! We need to officially assign the bike's serial number to your friend's new account.
