It is possible to add a basket to your bike. Any other accessories can be added if they can be removed without any damage to the bike.
Is it hard to find your bike back in a city full of Swapfiets bikes? Or do you need a basket so you can easily transport your bag? We've got you covered!
Basket
We offer a basket as an add-on to the regular subscriptions. It can be added to your current subscription for €2,00/£2,00/20kr. extra a month! When receiving your bike you can ask our colleagues to attach the basket for you. In case you already have the bike you can book an appointment via the app by clicking on 'I need help' and then 'I have an issue with my bike'. There is no specific option for adding a basket, but if you click on 'other problem' and mention you want to add a basket, we will make sure you get the right appointment. This upgrade is possible for all our bikes.
Note: The basket cannot be purchased as a separate subscription and is always in combination with a Swapfiets subscription. In case you loose the basket, we will charge €12,50/£12,50/95kr.
Child seat
It's also possible to attach a child seat to your Swapfiets. Again, all we ask is that it not damage the bike and be easy to attach and remove.
Bell and stickers
To make your bike more personal and recognisable, we can also give you a coloured bell and free bumper stickers. For any other stickers, it's important it can be removed without causing any damage.
