# How your Swapfiets subscription works
## At Swapfiets, you get a bike for a fixed monthly fee, and we make sure you're riding worry-free!
### What is included in your monthly Swapfiets fee
For a fixed monthly fee, you get:
- **A high-quality Swapfiets bike** equipped with a double lock and our iconic blue front tyre.
- **Free repairs and maintenance:** If your bike needs a repair, you can book an appointment and we will fix it for free.
- **Flexible service locations:** You can book your repair appointment at a Swapfiets store or at your location within our service area.
- **Quick bike swaps:** If we can't fix your bike within 10 minutes, we'll swap it for a working one so you can get back on the road right away.

### Can you buy a Swapfiets bike instead of subscribing?
No, you cannot purchase a Swapfiets bike. Our bikes are exclusively available through a monthly subscription so we can continuously maintain them and keep you riding worry-free.
