When does your subscription end?
When you cancel your Swapfiets subscription, your contract ends exactly one month after your cancellation date. You can keep riding your bike until your end date, or you can choose to return it earlier.
How we calculate your last invoice
Your final invoice may be lower than your standard monthly fee. We calculate it based on:
- The days your subscription was active after your previous invoice.
- The exact end date of your 1-month notice period.
Example: If you cancel your subscription on August 14, it remains active until September 14. You can keep riding until that date.
Your last invoice may be lower than usual because it only covers the days your subscription was active in your final month. In our example here, your September payment would only include September 1–14.
What happens if you keep your bike longer?
Can’t say goodbye to your bike just yet? No worries!
- If you return your bike late: If you keep your bike past your contract end date, we will simply add those extra days to your subscription on a pro-rata basis.
- If you want to avoid extra charges: Make sure you schedule and complete your bike return on or before your official contract end date.
