How to cancel your Swapfiets subscription

Step-by-step: Cancel in the Swapfiets app
You can download the Swapfiets app to manage your account from your phone.
- Open the Swapfiets app and log in.
- Go to the "I need help" section.
- Select "I want to cancel my subscription."
- Follow the remaining on-screen instructions to finalize your cancellation.
Once completed, we will send you a confirmation email with clear instructions on how to return your bike to us.
⚠️ Important Bike Return Policy: You must return your bike to us before the very last day of your subscription period. If you do not return the bike on time, your subscription will stay active, and we will continue to bill you.
Understanding your notice period
- Flexible Subscriptions (Month-to-month): We have a one-month notice period. You can keep using your bike for exactly one month after the day you give us notice.
- Loyal Subscriptions (6 or 12-month minimum contracts): Your subscription does not automatically stop at the end of your 6 or 12-month contract period. To end your contract exactly on its minimum end date, you must give us notice at least one month before that date arrives. You can cancel earlier if you like, but your subscription will remain active until the minimum contract period is up.
- Example: If your 6-month contract ends on 27-06-2026, you must submit your cancellation by 27-05-2026 at the latest to ensure it ends on time.
