I am moving to a different city

As long as Swapfiets is available in your new city, and within the same country, you can take your membership along for the ride! Find out where we are located on the map below.

How does it work?

In case you want to bring your bike you have 2 options:

  • Drop off your wheels at your local Swapfiets store before you leave. Then, pick up your new Swapfiets when you get to your next city.
  • If you don’t want to part with your ride, you can simply take your Swapfiets along with your stuff in your moving vehicle.
Whichever option you choose, don’t forget to contact customer support so we can get you set up in your new city.

Swapfiets isn't available in my new city. What now?

Unfortunately, if Swapfiets isn't available, we won't be able to service your bike in the new city. You are still able to use the bike in the new area, however, if you need service we ask you to come to the closest service area. 

My new city is not in the same country. What now?

Unfortunately, this means that you will have to cancel your subscription, and return your bike. After that you can register on the specific Swapfiets website of your new country. This is because every country has unique regulations, requiring accepting the terms of service of that specific country. 


Note: If Swapfiets is not available in your new city, we won't be able to service your bike there. While you can still use your bike, if you need servicing, you'll have to go to the nearest service area. See our map below to find our locations.
